Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov Called NATO’s Claims to Global Dominance a Dangerous Game

Alliance imposes its policy on Europe and Asia

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sergei Lavrov, said that the attempts of the NATO alliance to achieve dominance in all regions of the world, including Europe and Asia, could lead to negative consequences, the TASS news agency reported.

Sergey Lavrov also said that NATO is playing a dangerous game, claiming global dominance. He noted that these plans come directly from representatives of the alliance.

“This applies to both the European part of our continent and the eastern part of Eurasia. First of all, from the point of view of the provocations that NATO creates against the PRC, encouraging the creation of military blocs like AUKUS and promoting NATO infrastructure, NATO presence in this region,” he specified.

The head of the department stressed that alliance officials need to accept the “futility and dead end” of these plans. According to Sergei Lavrov, NATO needs to accept the reality in which multipolarity is beginning to take shape in the world.
